First Look Forum
is a great opportunity for companies starting down the road to raise
angel funding. And you’ll have better chances for success if you
understand what works and what doesn’t. This session covers the basics
and includes plenty of time for Q&A. Topics include: the angel
funding process; what investors look for; writing your executive
summary; elements of a good pitch; and common first-time mistakes … and
how to avoid them.
Bryan has helped his startup clients raise more than $20 million in
angel funding since 2000 and serves as a Pitch Doctor for First Look
Forum finalists. He is a frequent speaker and volunteer with NWEN and
other organizations in the local entrepreneurial community including
ZINO Society, UW Center for Commercialization, Seattle Univ., MIT
Enterprise Forum, UW, and WBBA. Bryan recently launched Funding Quest, a coaching group for startup CEOs seeking angel funding.
