October Venture Breakfast

October 9, 2009

What: WHERE DID IT GO WRONG?

When: Friday, October 9, 2009 7 - 9 am, Early-Bird Networking begins at 6:30 am

Who: Entrepreneurs of all levels – seasoned, new and potential!

Where: Bellevue Harbor Club, Bellevue, Washington (parking info below)

Why: Even though it's easy to focus on the start-ups that went well, entrepreneurs can often learn the most from the start-ups that didn’t go so well. We've identified speakers with the courage and fortitude to bare their souls about their recently failed businesses -- what happened, what they might have done differently, and what they’ll do next time. Of course they probably know the old saying that true startup success requires at least one prior "not so good" experience. Now, thanks to our panelists, you can share in that valuable experience and learn what to avoid - without the pain.

FYI, this may be the most frequently requested topic from our audience – so we recommend signing up early! Get the benefit of 20/20 hindsight from these intrepid entrepreneurs.

Dress Code: N/A, are you kidding? Come as you are!

Panel:
Moderator: Jordan Mitchell just recently sold his 4th startup, Others Online, Inc. He is a seasoned Internet entrepreneur with 14 years experience, including 1 prior failure and 2 prior successes. Jordan's experience in the "quick pivot" and change of direction so often required of early stage companies makes him an ideal moderator.

Panelists:
Marcelo Calbucci (Sampa), Pascal Stolz and Mikhail Seregine (ClayValet)
