NWEN Seeks Executive Director

As our members know, Cynthia Chirot stepped down from NWEN’s top post in June. While we’re currently in excellent hands with Margo Shiroyama as our Interim Executive Director, the NWEN Board of Directors would like to announce that the search is now under way for a permanent Executive Director to lead the organization.

The Northwest Entrepreneur Network is seeking candidates interested in helping NWEN’s board of directors achieve our mission of helping entrepreneurs succeed in building growth-potential companies. In addition to leading the team of staff and volunteers (with heavy emphasis on volunteers), in delivering dozens of programs for entrepreneurs at all stages of development, the Executive Director is NWEN’s chief ambassador to the entrepreneurial community, which includes sponsors, investors, service providers, and of course hundreds of entrepreneurs. NWEN’s business manager and chief spokesperson, the Executive Director helps shape the future of the organization, set its priorities, and execute on the day-to-day operations of this dynamic nonprofit.

Successful candidates will be self-sufficient, energetic, and knowledgeable of both early-stage entrepreneurship and nonprofit management. For the job description and information on how to apply, please click here. We’re accepting applications until August 27, 2007.
