Executive Director: Daniel Rossi
Daniel serves as the Executive Director of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN). His background consists of over a decade of business development in media companies from the Economist Group to the Seattle Times Company. Most recently he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Co-Founder of a University of Washington based technology startup called Nanocel. Some Nanocel highlights include winning the 2009 University of Washington Business Plan Competition, being Seattle's sole representative in the 2010 national Clean Tech Open, and being named one of the 2010 Innovators of the Year by Seattle Business Magazine. During this time he was a proud member of NWEN and participated in many events including the First Look Forum.
Daniel earned his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Washington with a focus in entrepreneurship. He now serves as a judge and coach in the annual University of Washington Business Plan Competition.
Daniel is a die hard Seattle Sounder's fan, reader of mystery novels, player of low tech board games, and competes in barbecue competitions with his team 3 Alarm BBQ. His specialty is pulled pork. He lives in Seattle with his wife Mandy and dog Helmut Rufus.
Assistant Director: Caitlin Goetze
Caitlin Goetze is the Assistant Director for the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, and spends her days planning and executing events (over 60 a year) and managing member relations. Most recently, Caitlin served as an Account Manager at a local Advertising agency, and brings her working knowledge of marketing and social media to the role. She enjoys supporting and working with individuals and groups who have entrepreneur-like minds, and looks forward to growing her experience and knowledge in this role. Caitlin received her BA in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
